CO:Member Spotlight: Aimee Ozment

Aimee Ozment is a cheerful fixture at theCO, having been a member off and on for the last several years she now finds herself working out of the space with U.S. Lawns, her current employer. 

“I like the fact that I don’t have to be alone, “ She says “But this is not nearly as suffocating as a traditional office setting.” Amiee finds the staff at theCO to be incredibly helpful as well, and notes what a positive environment it is to be in. 

U.S. Lawns is the largest commercial lawn care franchise in the United States. Amiee is their business developer, with some responsibility for sales. Her boss, the owner, is the only other office personale and he works mostly from home. Amiee, being familiar with the CO, suggested this space as a satellite location “It’s like my second home, I can actually focus on work here. I love coming here every day and being in this environment.”

Her day generally begins with answering emails and making calls to clients. In the summer months, she also helps with interviewing so her boss can be out supervising jobs. Having a space like theCO is perfect to meet potential employees in a professional environment. There are many options to choose from to do your work. I asked Amiee what her favorite spot was here at theCO, “Definitely the kitchen..” She laughs but you can generally find her right in the middle smiling big when you walk in and see her!
