CO:LLABORATION at theCO

Written by Dan Drogosh and Samantha Curry

Every Tuesday at theCO, we open our doors to members, non-members, aspiring entrepreneurs, current business owners, and just about anyone who is willing to expand their mind to something new and exciting. We call these social gatherings our meetups! Each meetup has a different focus or topic. Some meet-ups are more organized while others are free to wander. Here, we’ll dig deeper into our CO:llaborate meetup and share what it has provided for those who participate and what to expect if you were to attend.

William Donnell, lead designist of Sodium Halogen and one of theCO’s founders, leads this meetup every second Tuesday of the month. The goal of this meetup is to get people talking amongst each other about the problems they face with their business or ideas and discover an applicable solution together -- collaboration at its finest!

Despite the awesome topics he chooses such as Lean Startup methods, business strategy, and creative marketing, Donnell is looking to do more. “In the next year, I think it would be great to integrate our CO.STARTERS program with CO:llaborate. After the 9 week program ends, the work is just beginning. I think having our CO.STARTERS graduates attend CO:llaborate would be helpful in continuing their business venture(s), in having a small community of like-minded business owners to connect with.” Now, doesn’t that sound worth an hour of your time?

We think it is.  When it comes to innovation and collaboration, William is your guy. He was recently chosen to lead an innovation workshop for the White House. Yes, you read correctly, the freaking White House!

Please do yourself, and your idea, a favor and join all of us for CO:llaborate at theCO. Meeting on the second Tuesday night of every month. Bring those questions you’re afraid to ask but dying to know and we’ll make sure you have a great time.
