ScaleUp Kitchen is an innovative program dedicated to supporting food-based businesses in West Tennessee, including Fayette, Hardeman, Haywood, Madison, and Tipton counties. The program’s primary goal is to drive economic growth by empowering food entrepreneurs with the tools, knowledge, and resources necessary to scale their businesses.

  • This program is designed for restaurants, food trucks, caterers, and bakeries to improve operations, boost sales, and maximize profits. Through a blend of expert-led sessions and hands-on learning, participants will gain the tools to succeed.

  • Participants will experience:

    • A virtual digital accelerator.

    • Hands-on workshops and online sessions.

    • One-on-one coaching with industry professionals.

    • A showcase event to spotlight their business.

    • $50,000 in total prizes.

  • The program runs from May to November 2025 and support up to 25 participants across three growth tiers: Start, Grow, and Build. A detailed application and selection process ensures the program aligns with your business needs.

Lisa Tucker, a Memphis native and passionate foodie, is a foodpreneur with extensive expertise in the food & beverage industry. As the chief business coach for retail programming at Epicenter Memphis, she helps restaurants and food businesses connect with customers, refine messaging, and scale successfully. Lisa co-created City Tasting Box, doubling its revenue in two years and earning national recognition in publications like Forbes, Black Enterprise, and Thrillist. She holds an MBA from Christian Brothers University and a BS in Business Management from Johnson & Wales University, complemented by certifications in digital marketing, public relations, and brand communications.
