MakeShift is a lunch series created in partnership with the Jackson Chamber-- maybe you'll be inspired to make a shift but you will most certainly leave with action steps to move your business or project forward. Come to all of them or pick just the weeks that sound the most applicable to where you are right now in business and life.

Evaluating the numbers is what helps any entrepreneur know everything from where to start to how to measure success. Regina Richmond will share how she’s helped her family go from idea to launch with multiple businesses. She’ll talk through understanding how to set and achieve goals based on quantitative data. Regina will also share how they use the numbers to evaluate when it’s time to make pricing and other dollars driven shifts.

Alison Weaver | From Jet Setting to Cookies: How to Balance It All
Crumbl Cookies went viral and opened over 150 stores in the midst of a pandemic. One of those was right here in Jackson – we’ll hear from the owner, Alison Weaver about what it’s like to open and operate one of the fastest-growing cookie companies in the nation. But cookies aren’t all Alison focuses on– she also owns and operates Kingdom Concierge – a thriving travel agency. Alison will share why franchise ownership was the best move for them and how she is balancing it all.
